Hello!

I'm looking for suggestions to repair a roughly 2 meter 4 x 1 1/4 inch oak fence board
- see the pictures showing the damage photographed from the back (from inside) and from underneath ... .

I'm considering possibly using epoxy, maybe in combination with embedding a couple
of lengthwise epoxy-embedded steel rods in a cavity made from underneath ... .

I believe it's children walking on the fence (the board in question is mounted horizontally at the top of the 60 cm high fence) that caused the damage, so the repair should preferably hold for a child ... .

Best regards
