Hello!

I still have the old pipes through the basement wall after changing the heating system.

I've cut them on the inside, but what's the easiest way to remove them?

I don't want to damage the plaster more than necessary......

Grateful for input!

Krille

Take a pipe wrench and twist, then they come loose easily.

Cut along the wall, sand down any edges, fill the pipes, plaster and paint?

I cut along the wall and hammered in the pipes with a few blows with the sledgehammer and then plastered over. However, I don't have as smooth a baseboard as yours, so I couldn't get back the same texture as before. In your case, though, it should be fine to fill with some stone/mortar and then plaster over.
