I'm installing corner moldings 33x33 mm in the window reveal in a bathroom. It seals best if you nail from both sides, but then it's a hassle when you have to remove it and the nails are at 90 degrees. On the wall, I have 13 mm gypsum (+ mat), in the reveal 11 mm gypsum.
So: should I nail from one or both sides???
Then I thought (after installation) to run a thin bead of silicone between the wall and the list. OK?

When it needs to be removed — honestly, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Build so that it lasts today and in the future. Nail it from both sides!

You definitely want silicone in the bathroom, yes. However, make sure it's silicone intended for wet rooms or outdoor use so that it doesn't mold, because it will otherwise.
