I have torn down a light concrete wall between two rooms, which has created a deep groove where the wall and door frame used to stand. I am going to install a wider baseboard, but should I first cover the groove or what is the best approach? The baseboard would presumably need something to be attached to as well, I think? Thanks in advance for tips!
A deep groove in wooden flooring where a lightweight concrete wall once stood, next to different colored flooring and a partially visible cabinet.

Glue a wooden strip there to attach the threshold. PL600 or PL400 for example.
