Hello!

We have a split-level house, built in 1962. We recently redid the drainage and insulated the exterior walls with 10 cm of Optidrän and then a membrane on top of that.

Now we are renovating one of the bedrooms on the ground floor that has two walls "facing the soil." We have torn down the stud walls on the inside and struggled to remove five layers of wallpaper. There was quite a bit of mold on certain parts of the wallpaper, but hopefully, we have reduced the moisture in the walls significantly after the drainage and insulation.

Now the walls are more or less clean; we've reached some gypsum plaster that sits against the plaster on the inside. Can anyone help with what options are available?

Skim coat everything?
Put up some inorganic board against the plastered wall?
Does wet room gypsum work? They are inorganic, right?

Help is gratefully received :)
