want to remove this without damaging anything, anyone have any tips? Is it glued together or?
I tried hitting with a hammer on a block but then it started to crack a little.

Wooden frame structure on a patterned rug, possibly part of a DIY project. A person asks for advice on disassembling without damage.

Are you going to detach frames from the kitchen or disassemble frames?
If they are glued, the best tool is probably the Japanese saw to cut away supports and the bottom.

The lower part seems to be attached with those twist screws a’la IKEA at least?

A couple of close-ups would have helped :)

Yes, well, I have removed one frame, which I now want to take apart, which I don’t know how to do.

Unfortunately it's not that, there are just holes with some plastic remnants from where the legs were attached.

In that case, I guess it's plugged and glued.

The dowels might be able to be twisted until the glue plug breaks off.
