A glass cutter from ClasOlsson? http://www.clasohlson.se/Product/Product.aspx?id=156864640
Requires a bit of practice but you can do that on the glass you take out of the window.

It is possible to cut around. The larger the radius, the easier it is. Without much experience, I managed to make two crescents with a radius of about 200-250. However, I failed a couple of times at first. Therefore, practice on the old glasses first.

Dip the glass cutter in something like lacquer thinner when you're cutting, then the glass won't fuse back together as easily in the groove you score.
Perhaps you can create some kind of template that you can place both under and over the glass so that it more easily follows your scoring when you break off the excess glass?
