Hello!
I'm working on a fireplace project in the garden. A half oil barrel has become a fireplace. But the problem is that I can't control which direction the smoke goes.
Does anyone have any tips on what to do? Can you work with loose panels (windbreaks) that are attached to the edge of the barrel and moved around depending on which direction the wind is coming from? Or an exhaust fan in a pipe that draws the smoke away.
All suggestions are gratefully received :)

You need to have a chimney, the warm air rises and you get a chimney effect that draws the air upwards.
