Hello,

We probably have limestone in the stairwell, the cleaners are soaking the stone with water when they clean, is that okay? (I know stone does well with a fatty surface) Which chemicals should not be used? Grönsåpa might be what one should use.

Green soap and water are excellent for limestone. Then it is the case that in a stairwell with old limestone, it becomes dull and "hollowed out," partly due to wear and partly due to, for example, salt brought in from the street that creates "pores." An old staircase can be sanded/polished anew, which might be what's needed.
