How to cast electrical boxes in the wall?
Hello,
I am going to cast two basement walls in pure concrete that I am building a mold for. They need to have some electrical boxes embedded in them.
The electrician is using VP2 in other areas. When I asked about embedding boxes, he didn't know anything about it.
Does anyone here know how to do it or have pictures? You don't want to risk the concrete flowing into the box.

There are also so-called holders for pipes (no hoses now) that meet the standard that a double drywall box has for the pipes. Plastering afterward adds bulk, and then you have to remove the cover and put newspaper in the box, creating a gap into the box, but it doesn't matter, there's nothing flammable there, and no spacer ring (expensive). Alternatively, if there's a lot, you can saw off the outer part of a box to the right measurement needed and use long screws through it into the box in the wall.
Nail it backwards onto the mold through the nail mountsS spaxx said:
The pipes are just pushed firmly into the bottom of the hole in the box, I can't find the exact mounts for casting for the pipes right now, I haven't been on anything other than residential houses where they've been used, but I have a detective looking into it and will get back, maybe someone else on the forum knowsS spaxx said:
You use a device like this
https://www.elektroskandia.se/produkt?artnr=1421313&pl=3 just nail the device to the form, then you can use a tube but it must be approved for embedding, the same applies to vp-pipes, there are different types.

We only use pipes and hoses that have "Styvhetsklass 750N"

What is the nail in the middle for, is that the one you nail into the form?Hojte said:
Do you attach the box with more nails/screws than the one in the middle?
PS: Many thanks for your answers!
