How to call "Slabs" in Swedish and buying tips in Sweden
Hello,
How would you refer to "slabs" in Swedish?
I'm also looking for suggestions on where to buy, the dream is to find a large space packed with various "slabs".
Best regards, Oskar

Plate or (thick) slab. A common term in building contexts is concrete slab, i.e., betongplatta.
Thank you, however, I wonder what such a wooden board is called (if there is a Swedish term).
"Sawn wood" I understand is when the edges are untreated - "Live edge slab" in Swedish?

Where I am, we call it block-sawn, unedged works too.
Slabs are what come out of the steel mill and go on to the rolling mill.

Even thick slices of meat are called slabs. Such pieces of wood as seen in the picture I think best fall under the term rough-sawn lumber. If they are less than 2 inches thick, you might call them rough-sawn boards, otherwise, they can become rough-sawn planks.
