I have glulam beams 2 pieces 270mm x 90mm and 4 m long

I realized I could build some benches and maybe a table for outdoor use.

They shouldn't warp.

How would you build them - and would you stain or lacquer?

It's very easy to make a table.
I know at least one person here on the forum who has such a table.

Laminated beams are as bad as any other wood outdoors, they don't warp as much but they crack and warp.

This is after having a grill table made from a piece of laminated beam at 115x625x2000mm.

Save them for a future project instead.

ok what did you treat your grill table with - wondering if the risk of cracks can be reduced with the right treatment.

I can't save the laminated beam - either I make something out of them or they go to the dump.

Boiled linseed oil, but you're absolutely right that treatment is essential, I neglected it quite a bit since the grill table was rather ugly, I don't even grill next to it anymore, not particularly mobile, so to speak.

Stop, stop!!! If you're not going to keep them yourself, I'll happily pick them up if you live within 10 miles from Piteå
