I am going to build new interior walls in the basement and will use metal studs. The floor track isn't a problem as I can drill holes and use plugs in the concrete floor.
But how do I anchor the track in the ceiling when it's not solid concrete until about 4-6cm behind the paper-like material seen in the picture?

In the picture, you can see where I have removed a previous interior wall and the plaster on the ceiling is gone.

Tension battens between the floor and ceiling so you don't need to screw into the beams?

That's obviously an option. But with 3 kids who play quite wildly from time to time, I want to anchor it to avoid risking pushing the wall sideways ;)

I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me with the same type of ceiling and has managed to find a smart way to anchor the track.

Just drive long screws (y),
