Hello!
We are planning to renovate part of our house but are a bit unsure about how to approach the order of the ceiling, floor, and walls.

We currently have 3 rooms (the red lines in the image) and want to adjust them so that the two smaller rooms become larger (the green lines in the image).
In connection with this, we want to replace the ceiling and floor in all rooms. The floor and ceiling should be the same in all rooms.

In what order should we do this? Some say to go from top to bottom, others think you should build the walls first, etc.
What do your experiences say and what are the pros/cons?

Build the walls first if you don't plan to make one big room later. I assume they are self-supporting roof trusses....

Hi!
Yes, the trusses are self-supporting and have no plans for one big room.
Thanks for the reply!

Alright, first walls, then ceiling, last floor. Final finish on the walls should be done after you have completed the ceiling. The best combination to reduce the risk of damage to the material, while also making it easier to install the ceiling and floor in smaller rooms.
