Hello!
I'm in the process of putting up drywall on the walls but I'm not quite sure how to deal with the chimney that is "in the way" on two of the walls. This is what the walls look like, the chimney is circled in green. I would appreciate suggestions on how you would solve this.

A hallway with a chimney breast highlighted in green, surrounded by a door and textured glass panels. The wall awaits construction advice.

Walls with drywall partially installed, two doors, a ladder, and a green-highlighted chimney breast between the doors.

I've torn down the masonite that was there originally and started putting 13 mm drywall directly on the sheathing. By the chimney, it was plastered level with the masonite. Can I add an additional ~9 mm plaster to make it even with the drywall or should I chip away the plaster and install some studs to level it?

Use set glue and glue the gypsum directly onto the chimney breast. If it is level with the other surfaces. There is 9mm gypsum available.

Yes, that might not be a bad idea. It will at least work on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the plaster on the upper floor seems to be slightly rounded.
