I have a flat sheet metal roof in sheet metal - Plåtisol, which I installed with a skilled sheet metal worker friend in 1981. Unfortunately, the metal has rusted through in 2 places, each about 50-60cm on 2 sheets.

The roof has a slope of about 6 degrees and the metal is double seamed with a machine - approximately 40kg heavy.

To the point. I have good machines and tools in the workshop but I'm a bit uncertain about how to successfully create a neat and tight double seam. Ideally with a picture. It should look like a regular seam that was made before the sheet metal came. Was an apprentice sheet metal worker 50 years ago ...😉

Open the falser and flatten, double fold into new pieces..
