I'm about to complete my first major tiling project, a laundry room with about 13 m2 of floor and about 35 m2 of walls.
My previous tiling experience is about ten kitchens.
The floor has a floor drain and a 110 mm drain. The walls have a door, two windows, one of which is round, and ten holes for electrical installations.
The time spent on tiling alone is now around 50 hours, and I expect 2-4 more before I finish. This is significantly more than the approximately 30-35 I had planned for.
Am I way too slow, or is this the time one should expect for a Timell-copy?

You see how many complaints there are about, among other things, tiling done by professionals, so why not do as you do, spend a few extra hours, and get it right. But now we want to see pictures to check out how nice it has become, because surely you've been careful to measure out the center of the walls, and not used too small pieces in the corners.
Pictures will come when it's starting to be finished. I've grouted the walls but still have the floor left. Plumbing and electrical work also remain as well as a new ceiling.
I'm now at a total of 160 hours divided as follows:
- Demolition and removal of old furnishings - 8 hrs
- Demolition of old floor including joists and installing new floor joists at 300 mm centers, installing drainage - 20 hrs
- Installation of grooved chipboard, milling turns, installation of underfloor heating plates, pipes, screwing glue floor gypsum - 12 hrs
- Straightening three walls approx. 25 sqm - 24 hrs
- Installing OSB + gypsum approx. 35 sqm - 2 men x 8 hrs = 16 hrs
- Installing moisture barrier approx. 13 sqm - 2 men x 4 hrs = 8 hrs
- Tiling walls approx. 35 sqm and floor approx. 13 sqm - 2 men x 24 hrs + 10 hrs = 58 hrs
- Grouting walls - 8 hrs
- Constructing a box for wall-hung toilet including OSB and gypsum - 6 hrs
Remaining work:
- Grouting floor - 6-8 hrs
- Tiling the "toilet box" including grouting - 8 hrs
- Caulking - 2 hrs
- Making casing and trim around window approx. ~100 cm - 6-8 hrs
- Installing washing bench - 4 hrs
- Installing washbasin - 4 hrs
- Making basement hatch - ??? hrs
- Installing new ceiling with 8-10 spotlights - 2 men x 6 hrs = 12 hrs
Well... maybe I'll end up under 200 hours...
