We are going to install wainscoting in the hallway and wondering how to handle the baseboard and trim? The baseboards I have looked at are rounded at the top and thus are not suitable for placing the panel on top; the baseboard must be on top of the panel. But what happens at the door then? The baseboard will stick out 2 cm beyond the door trim?

Do we need to choose a baseboard with a straight top edge to avoid this? It doesn't seem easy to find here.

Could this be a type of solution?

Are you going to replace the door trim too? In that case, you need to do a back salning on the trim above the panel and then as usual on the rest.

Yes, there will be new door trim. If I understand you correctly, this will mean that the door trim will stick out 4 cm from the wallpaper above the panel, as they are 21 mm thick. Won't that look strange?

What is the allmogefoder that is 21 mm thick? Install foder as usual. Use skurkloss as in the picture. And add a trim behind foder that is as thick as the panel. The nicest way to solve it. Then paint everything.
