Going to tear down a wall in my basement. What's the easiest way to tear down concrete? And is there anything to keep in mind? I don't think it's load-bearing. The wall is about 1.2m wide and 2.2m high.

Best regards, Anders

Is it cast concrete? Reinforced? Or concrete blocks?

I actually don't know, but the wall next to it is masonry and brick-like. So it's probably the same on this one.

Regards, Anders

You should then be able to chisel a small opening first, perhaps one block high and two wide. Then it should be possible to get the blocks to release at the joints if you use a sledgehammer after working on the joints first. The first blocks often take the most time.

Okay, what do you do when building? I am completely green on this... :-?

It doesn't work to, for example, drill a lot of holes and then use the sledgehammer?

Best regards, Anders

Will probably go well!
A huggmejsel, or several, can be of great help!
