Hello!

I am renovating my hallway, where I am currently tearing down wallpaper, but I also plan to lay new flooring and lower the ceiling to install some LED downlights. I have some thoughts regarding the ceiling lowering. I have an airflow channel (L-shaped) from the bedroom through a storage space out to the hallway. The opening to the channel is, as you can see in the picture, 5 cm from the ceiling, which means the lowering I am considering (45mm frame + 12.5 mm ceiling plaster) would cover part of the opening.

How can I solve this in the smoothest way?

There are LED spotlights that fit in 28 mm gles.

Will it be the smoothest solution? To be honest, I must say I haven't looked very closely at spots with very low installation depth, but doesn't that limit me mainly to spotlights intended for installation in furniture or similar?

My first hope was to find a grid fixture with a lower height than the one I have right now (750x100 mm externally, 550x75mm internally), but it doesn't seem very easy.
