How do I repair the hole in the garage foundation?
What should I use to repair this hole in the foundation of my garage? I need to know the exact term it's called in the building trade.
I'm guessing some form of concrete mixture first and then maybe some sort of plaster on the outside, but I don't know which type among all the different ones
Is there anything I should be careful not to do when performing the work? Anything to pay extra attention to? Other tips? I'm all ears.
A huge thank you in advance to you who take the time to help me. I appreciate it immensely!

Alkali-resistant cement is usually used for aerated concrete. But based on the picture, I find it difficult to determine the exact procedure, so I can't suggest an exact product.
I also guess that there might be a moisture issue in the corner, perhaps a gutter or downpipe that would need to be fixed to prevent the problem from recurring.

Oh, thank you so much, so kind of you to respond!
It's right in the corner and I've addressed the moisture problem that was due to a leaky paper roof, a lot of the water didn't flow into the gutter but instead ran down the wall PLUS incorrect slope on the ground that was also covered with a lot of vegetation. I plan to put gravel closest to the foundation after I've fixed this. (I'm also going to replace the cladding, including the worn corner board you can see here in the picture)

How is the foundation constructed?E Eufori said:Oh, thank you so much, that's very kind of you to respond! It's right in the corner, and I've addressed the moisture issue which was due to an untight asphalt roof; a large part of the water didn't run down into the gutter, but instead down along the wall, PLUS incorrect slope of the ground that was also covered with lots of vegetation. Is it slab directly on the ground or what?
What is the lightweight concrete block doing?

Sometimes you place a row of lightweight concrete blocks on the concrete slab, the wooden wall then comes up a bit from the ground. Or the concrete slab is independent of the outer walls. The outer walls then stand on lightweight concrete blocks. In any case, the block must be replaced for future good durability of the garage. But it is difficult to judge without being on-site to understand the construction.E Eufori said:
