I have a room I am trying to level. I started with the outer wall, we can call it wall (A), and it turned out well. Then I put up the wall opposite (B) and measured both ends to make them parallel to each other. Then I come to the problem. How do I get walls C and D square and straight? Any tips? I measured the distance between C and D at both wall A and wall B, and it's about 3 cm different. How should I do this? Can any kind soul help me?
So you want to know if wall C and D are at an angle to wall A and B?
You measure 60 cm from the corner on one wall, and then measure 80 cm on the wall that is supposed to be at an angle to the first wall. Then you adjust the angle between the walls so that the measurement between your points is 100 cm.
Alternatively, you can use a carpenter's square (large set square) or a masonite/chipboard/plywood board that you place on the floor. It should be sufficiently perpendicular.

A collapsible angle like this is quite handy. It has sufficient precision for construction and tiling purposes.
