I am going to lay wood parquet on top of a tile floor. There are some uneven areas, so I guess it's best to use self-leveling compound first. But when I search for self-leveling, I only find links about creating slopes in bathrooms, etc.

Does anyone have tips on films or texts that describe the process and what is needed?

There is underfloor heating in the floor, so the products must be compatible with it.

By the way, it's about 20 sqm. Difficult to do it yourself?

No problem with self-leveling compound, but if you've never done it, get some help with it.

Ok. Thought it wouldn't be that complicated? It's not many mm we're talking about. Don't you mix self-leveling so it flows out and becomes flat? Or do you have to manage to spread it evenly?

Do you even need to use leveling compound then?

There are all kinds of paper or foam products that can be used between two substrates.

Sounds like you should have a diffusion-open product. I have sometimes combined paper with foam to locally build up a few extra millimeters on a square meter.
