Hi, I'm going to install a vanity with a width of 600mm.
However, there are no studs where the pre-drilled holes in the vanity are. So I'm wondering how to attach it in the best way to ensure it holds đ
It's some type of panel material (gray wall) with Huntonit wall panel (11mm) on top.
I have located studs behind the panels using a magnet and nails, and they seem to have a spacing of about 400-450mm (house built in '72).
So how do I attach this so it holds properly? Is it enough to put 2 wood screws in the middle (at the stud), then a support bracket underneath, or is there another way to avoid the support bracket?
But then you should know what the wall is made of, right? Isn't there any form of OSB/plywood behind the drywall as recommended by "sÀkert vatten" today? Otherwise, it should be reinforced where the sink is mounted if the board is omitted.

I have no idea. There was a type of soft wallpaper on the wall before we removed it. So I've never been through the board to see how it's constructed.
This is not classified as a wet room today since it only has a washbasin and a toilet. There's linoleum on the floor, but the walls have Huntonit and are painted.
The dresser stands on legs, so a few screws in the wall should be enough to hold it in place.
No, this one is wall-mounted. I've propped it up on cardboard to see approximately where it lands, or maybe I'm using the wrong word when I say dresser.
