We will have a shelf about 1 dm high behind our kitchen countertops with mosaic on the vertical part and wood as the "lid". The studs, or rather blocks, are on cc 60.
I'm considering building this shelf with 10 mm MDF + 6 mm renovation plaster under the mosaic.
I think just plaster will be bad at the top edge and MDF + 12 mm plaster + mosaic feels very bulky.
That should work, right? Or does anyone think the MDF will move so much that the mosaic will fall off the plaster?
