Removed a drain pipe from the kitchenette in a guest room. The question is how to fix this in the smoothest way (sufficiently tidied up with as little effort as possible?)?
You have a nick in the trim as well. Do you have the possibility to buy similar trim? If so, saw off the damaged piece and replace it with a new trim. If not, place a small piece of wood that you carve to be a little smaller than the hole. Then fill the rest with wood filler or plastic padding.
Regarding the hole in the plaster, I would definitely not use foam sealant; you have no idea where it will go. The standard method is a small piece of batten, like 22x43 or similar, and screw on both sides of the hole. Then fasten the repair piece with one or two screws and fill/paint.
A 20 cm molding strip that you attach using adhesive or mounting glue on the inside. Use a hole saw to cut out a round piece from a plasterboard, which you glue with adhesive or mounting glue onto the strip in the hole. Fill, sand, paint. And a new floor molding.
