Hello.

A house we are interested in was built in 1947 with a basement.
In the ceiling, you can see that it's also concrete.
Could it be blåbetong? I've read a bit about it and it says it was most common in the 60s-70s.
Concrete ceiling with visible texture and pipes, possibly from a house built in 1947. Inquiry about the presence of blue concrete.

It looks like a classic concrete arch, blåbetong is probably a variant of lightweight concrete and you didn't cast it like that, right?

Ok. That sounds reasonable. This is the ceiling in the basement that looks like this. 😀

Agree with 13th. Cast vault where the growth rings from the formwork are visible BUT how is the rest of the structure constructed? Masonry with lightweight concrete perhaps? That's where you need to focus and check.

The basement and the basement floor are cast. The rest is a wooden frame.

The basement walls don't need to be cast but can be masonry.
