Hi. Does anyone know where to find detailed images of house frames? Preferably with load-bearing calculations and dimensions. Or if any of you know a bit about the construction technique when building a house frame. It's for a 1 and 1/2 story house on a concrete slab.

You almost have to calculate each frame separately depending on where in the country it is located, what roof pitch you should have, snow zones, etc., and of course what material you are going to build with. But you could almost say that if you are going to build new with wood and use simple insulation, the studs need to be so thick to hold enough insulation that it becomes more or less over-dimensioned. Are you going to build with lösvirke??
That's why I want to see examples of how they calculate so I can use it on my frame. The house will be located in Småland. I was thinking of using 45*170 studs in the wall but I don't know the dimensions of the trusses. Insulation will be 170+45+45. Roof pitch 37 degrees. Loose timber yes. I assume the material is furu.
I don't think there are any shortcuts.

If you are building a "regular" house, there's basically nothing to calculate in the actual framework. It's only if you're going to have very large window openings or something similar. The roof trusses can be sized by whoever manufactures them.
