House built of straw bales and clay plaster
Hello,
I have bought some books regarding straw bale house construction and I think it seems absolutely amazing. I'm considering building one myself.
Does anyone have any experience with straw bale house construction in Sweden?

Hi, does anyone have a link for a step-by-step guide? I've read what I found and concluded that if it's going to be a straw house, it will use the infill method, and the CC distance depends on the length of the straw. Now, I have no idea what length straw usually is, so what's the usual length?
Since the house is actually a garage, my second question is how to build up the framework. If I understand it correctly, you first set up a skeleton with a roof, then attach the straw between the studs using strings, and then apply some form of plaster on both sides.
But why should you plaster both sides? Can't you just plastic one side, for example, the outside, and then put a wood panel?
So, wood panel plastic and then straw plaster and Plywood and drywall.

No, I was thinking of regular construction plastic between the straw and outer panel as a diffusion barrier-wind protection.

Have you planned to have cc 90? It sounds like a lot to me, as CC 60 is the standard spacing except in bathrooms where it's recommended to have cc 30 or double wetroom gypsum and cc 60. I've never built a new house before, so I'm not very familiar.
In bathroom FLOORS, 30 cm is recommended. There is no recommendation for walls. Frame houses have several meters between the columns. Those who build with the infill method usually have about 90 cm.
You should ABSOLUTELY not have plastic in the straw wall. The whole point of a straw wall is that it should breathe. And if you moreover put the plastic on the outside, the wall will rot within a year.
It takes a long time to mix the plaster, but it probably has to be done. For the straw to be approved technically for fire safety, it must have protection. Plaster is the most common, but possibly gypsum can also be approved if it is two layers on each side of the wall.

Okay so it will be wood panel drywall drywall straw drywall drywall. How do these straw houses meet today's environmental requirements? I remember that houses today must meet certain environmental standards to be approved. When I talked to the guys who renovated my bathroom, they said that today most villas are built with 45 cm insulation and everything is sealed with plastic, with all seams overlapped by at least 50 cm. as well as modern glass, etc.
