Does anyone know what the measurements are for their horizontal paneling? I'm planning to build a house similar to Green Line 715 using loose timber and would like to know what type of paneling is on the exterior wall.

don't know exactly but it costs 50,000 SEK extra :'(. Have you considered any building technical aspects when choosing horizontal? Personally, I think horizontal looks really nice but reasonably it's a worse technical solution (moisture, drainage etc.)

cost 50,000 SEK extra? compared to what? paneling is paneling, so I hardly believe that the material cost differs by more than a maximum of 10,000:- plus, paneling is much easier to install than both lock panel and panel with lists. so 50,000:- feels like pure extortion!!! I'm going to build the whole house myself in loose timber and have more or less copied their house and am interested in dimensions/model etc. and yes it IS really nice!! but technically speaking, there shouldn't be a problem; you can lay the 2" horizontally on the inside. regarding moisture, I think it's six of one and half a dozen of the other, the paneling does have a drainage angle so the water isn't likely to stay there.

Now I'm curious!

What panel are you talking about?
What profile on the boards?

"drainage angle"?

Horizontal paneling is cool!

It is horizontal exterior paneling with the appearance of Greenline 715; there is a picture on their website - check out the show houses.

There is no difference in price! except if you choose a more expensive panel that is horizontal...one that I think looks nice is the fjällpanel.

Personally, I think the fjällpanael doesn't look particularly good but tastes are like ...

no, it seems completely crazy that Trivsel charges 50,000:- just because it looks better!!!!!
