Just finished building our conservatory and am planning to cover the interior walls with horizontal 195 mm exterior paneling. Is there a risk that these will swell or can I lay them directly against each other? The conservatory is insulated to withstand late autumn and has underfloor heating. It will be partially heated (frost protection) even in the winter.
All wood absorbs moisture and swells when humidity is high and releases moisture and shrinks when humidity is low. This happens with all wood, even indoors.
