Hi! Considering the best way to make an opening for a door in a concrete wall. The door is 1.5x2.5m, not a small hole,

what do you use? Are there special tools or is it a sledgehammer? :P

there are concrete saws for rent but they create a lot of dust.

If it had been lättbetong, a rotary hammer with a chisel would work, but it might be too hard for regular concrete.

Hi, I'm getting involved now... But I'm going to make a doorway in a wall made of seven-centimeter slag plates. I know it creates a lot of dust, but what is the best way to "cut" it? Basically the same question as Peter....

Reciprocating saw? Jigsaw?

Large angle grinder with diamond blade and wet the cut so it doesn't dust as much.

If it's a thick wall, get a professional.

Hey! I've talked to a friend's friend who was going to come and see what he would charge to cut it up, otherwise I'll rent a saw/cutter and do it myself! Dust is to be expected, but what the heeck! =)

if you are going to use a motorkap make sure to include the water connection, when water is used, it hardly produces any dust
