Hello!

In our hallway, we have installed a 2 m wardrobe with sliding doors. The track is mounted on the ceiling, and the ceiling height is 2.70 meters. The wardrobe is 2.40 meters tall. On one short side, we need a cover panel. Are there MDF boards as large as 2.7x0.7 meters? How do we attach it to the wall and the wardrobe? Angle brackets? If you need to splice two boards vertically, do you put one up first and then the other, or do you assemble them before?

Best regards, Ludde

I have been thinking about how to solve this nicely. A salesperson at a company that manufactures such things (perhaps I'm not allowed to mention the company name here?) suggested that a thick end always looks better than a thin one. The salesperson had a system with a rail in the floor and ceiling that the end slides onto - invisible mounting. Definitely an option. Otherwise, I've thought about framing up an end with two-by-twos and plasterboard. It's clear that a thick end looks better than thin mdf!

Hi!
I have Lumi sliding doors and I bought ready-made side panels in the same color as the doors. In that room, I have a ceiling height of 2.40, and I remember cutting off quite a bit from the panels. I attached them with brackets at the top and bottom. Check where you bought your sliding doors, they probably have panels too.
Good luck!
