We have underfloor heating that extends between the hall and the toilet. The pump is located in the hall and previously it was built-in so that you could only access the temperature control from a hatch above. During the renovation, this was removed, so now the question is what we can cover it with so that we still have full access to the hoses and pump if needed.

Yes, some type of door would have been a good solution, but the question is what it would look like. It's still quite a large depth that the door needs to cover. Another option is to construct some type of L solution that is hung on 3-4 hangers on the wall under the window.

It looked good according to us, but the problem was that you could only open the small hatch on the top.

Make sure to get a moisture-proof base as well, looks like open wooden joists.
You can build up with wood (boards) so it is tight, possibly a little caulk and paint with regular lacquer paint for wood. It is tight on the surface and will lead water out onto the floor outside so you can see that there is a leak.
