The thing is that the floor layer has laid new flooring, but there's a stop at the next room because there is a drop where the other rooms begin (that is, at the floor threshold).
What do I need to fill the hole so the flooring can continue to be laid??
Should one lay multiple layers of wood pieces/joists or what do you recommend?

Floor slab, no idea, probably concrete, it's a condominium and not a house.
"The hole" is about 5cm deep, 10cm wide, and 80cm long.
Do you buy self-leveling compound in a can like regular putty or do you have to mix it yourself, etc.??
There is a lot of dirt from wood chips and dust from putty sanding in the hole as well.

What type of flooring is being installed? If it's parquet, then it would be almost perfect to place a piece of 2"4 in the hole and then double layers of foam/paper to fill the remaining mm.
If it's a carpet, skip the self-leveling compound as you will almost certainly have to use filler. I recall that adhesive (for tiles) is available pre-mixed. Regular adhesive that you mix with water works perfectly as a filler, so the pre-mixed should work as well.
Then I just have to ask; Why isn't the floor installer solving the problem?

It was a friend who laid the floor and he doesn't know.
The floor is parquet flooring.
OK, so some type of fix/self-leveling compound that should be pre-mixed will do, is that correct??
