help with building a ceiling!

Hello! So I'm going to build my first ceiling in my apartment. I need advice and tips based on your experiences and knowledge.

1: Metal studs or wood, and what size is required for this and which is the cheapest?

2: Is there any step that is a bit tricky and one should think about beforehand?

3: The room is 3 meters wide, and then there should be (studs?) that support the studs in the middle of the ceiling. Should it be attached with something special?

Plaster or panel?
Use furring strips.
Plaster is tricky without a plaster lift. Available for rent at ex cramo cheaply

I'm not quite clear on the conditions?

Have you torn out the old ceiling, or are you lowering it against the existing ceiling?

Are you going to use plasterboard, paneling, or foil-coated particleboard?

As mentioned, tell me more about the conditions and what end result you want!

I currently have a concrete ceiling that isn't very attractive. 3 out of 4 walls in the room consist of some type of chipboard and the last wall is concrete planning to install a gypsum ceiling.
