This doesn't have much to do with houses, but I'll ask anyway.
I need to buy two plastic rods, preferably hollow. Outer diameter around 20-40 millimeters, length 1.5-2.0 meters. They will be used as pulls/shafts for the fjällpulken I have built.
Think of those red poles that are used along smaller roads to mark where the road goes when/if there's snow. Those poles would be perfect! However, I live in a place where they're scarce and you shouldn't steal ;-)
Does anyone know who can sell something similar?
I've searched without finding anything (VP pipes are too weak).
The rods don't need to be plastic and hollow, it could be another material as well. They don't need to be hollow either.
Thanks in advance...

Thank you for your answers! It's the thread creator here again...
I would prefer hollow tubes. This is so I can have a rope inside the tube. The rope will then be what pulls the sled when moving forward. The tube is what brakes and ensures that you don't get the sled in your back when going downhill.
Aluminum tubes might work, as long as it has reasonably thick material. I have tried broom handles in aluminum and they were too weak. The shafts should preferably have the property to bend rather than break...
I have also considered VP tubes, but I think they seem weak as well.
As you can see, especially in one of the pictures, there are a bit of forces... =)
