HELP! approx. 1 meter 50mm PE pipe (Stockholm area)
Anyone happen to have a piece of 50 mm PEM pipe to sell in the Stockholm area?
I accidentally cut the pipe to the pool and now the water is flowing out... :'(
Can't find it by the meter anywhere I've looked today in the Stockholm area, and ordering a whole roll seems a bit unnecessary...

Yes, I can spare a meter. However, consider that it's difficult to fit such a short piece into existing connections. It's more reasonable to use flexible PVC hose (which is also sold by the meter in all pool stores!)
I'll be home tonight and all day tomorrow.

Wonderful! Thank you!
I have freely dug around the hose and had to cut about 1 meter because it became flat.
I will first attach a PRK joint and then I can lift up the hose at the other end so that inserting it into the other PRK connection should go pretty well as long as I get the right length on it...

I know that brass should be avoided in connections with chlorinated water, but a PRK joint has minimal exposure to the water. About 1 mm between the hoses.
Does it work or will it still corrode?
PRK is made of some dezincification-resistant brass, if that makes any difference...
Not so keen on burying a plastic joint...

It will oxidize and start leaking, how far away in time no one knows, the blue ones sold at J-A are good and hold in the ground, just tighten the nuts properly, and make sure the hose goes to the bottom of them, the hose should be chamfered on the outside so the O-ring doesn't get cut, it may be tight but a little dish soap works fine.
Buy a plastic connector, they are almost as durable as the hose.
Suggest a Cpex plastic coupling, available at poolstore. I find these sturdier than those I've seen at, for example, folkpool.
I would be surprised if the prkkoppling fails prematurely. However, there is a risk for a bit more grönsre hair than desired....
