Since I received such great help in my last post, I thought I'd try again.
As I mentioned before, I'm building a two-story stone house. The house's slab measures 12.6x6.1 meters.
My plan is to lay HEA 220mm beams, 5600mm long, with a center-to-center distance of 3000mm.
Then, 45'220 K24 beams, 3000mm long, between the HEA beams with a center-to-center distance of 450mm.
Does this seem like a good solution?

I will not comment on deflection and strength...
But a thought (which of course depends on the floor plan), think through what you need to run in terms of ventilation and plumbing, it becomes somewhat problematic to go through the steel beam(s) afterward.

The wooden beams can be placed on s600 instead of s450 if you want. The H-beam is more difficult to assess; someone needs to calculate it, but it is probably sufficient, otherwise, you can use HEB.

JOW: good, I have a shower drain that gets to go into the lecawall because of this.
larsbj: the reason I chose hea 220 is that I got them second-hand at a very low price. I have calculated using Moelvens' program and it shows that I would need a 90*450 glulam. In the table comparing glulam and steel that is often discussed here on byggahus, it says that hea 220 corresponds to 115'630 glulam, several here on the forum also state that you can't use the table directly but...
I think that hea 220 is much higher, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Or am I thinking wrong?

No, the idea was to use 45x220mm k24, the question was if it corresponds to 42x180 lomträ.

Enk Project: After reviewing various construction techniques and taking into account work, economy, quality, etc., I have chosen to build in this way...
Okay... I thought it was both easier and cheaper to cast....it was at least when I last made a vault....byggagöteborg said:

Enk Project: should probably also admit that I haven't fully read up on cast arches. What is required to be able to cast 5.6x12 m arches?
