Have been considering isoleca or leca 290mm. But now it has been suggested that if you use celcon, you don't need additional insulation.

Experiences, expensive?
Or should one go for regular lecablocks and insulate externally?

Think that siporex or celblock seems easy to work with (Glue the blocks) and acoustically they should be better than leca/isoleca then you just plaster directly on the surface. However, I don't find much about siporex or is it called ytong nowadays? http://www.yxhult.se/

Unsure... since I've been thinking in "Leca" all the time, haven't even checked price differences yet...

Unfortunately, only German HH Celcon is available on the Swedish market, but it seems that Danish Ytong is about to enter the market (Also with a German product really?) Siporex is otherwise a great material, I am going to build with vertical elements (full room height, 300-600 wide, 365 thick) that are glued together side by side. It goes incredibly quickly, raising a house in a couple of days. Then it's just a matter of plastering the outside and smoothing and wallpapering the inside.

Where do you buy them (365mm) and at what price per sqm including VAT?
Do you also build split-level houses?
No issues with routing VP pipes and such?

Regarding plaster, I have looked into this, it can also be used as plaster on the inside...

The Celcon I've been looking at has a price of over 1000 SEK/sqm for the facade, including beams (about 30) and a lot of cuts, with 4 gables having elements all the way up. I'm planning to use STO on the outside: one layer applied, then fiberglass mesh laid across, followed by another layer, all applied wet-on-wet. Then, apply plaster with marble aggregate. For the inside, spackling is sufficient; if you want extra security, you can apply smooth mesh, but that's quite a bit of extra work and not easy to make look nice if you're not experienced...

Draven...look under the STONE HOUSE category, there is a lot about aerated concrete. The cheapest you buy from Poland today. The company Xella owns the YTONG brand. www.xella.pl or www.xella.de if you don't know Polish ;).
