I'm going to build a sort of half-hip roof above the entrance and am currently drawing it.
The roof should have a slope of 18 degrees. When I calculate the rafter that will be on the diagonal in the corner, I get that it should be 12.9 degrees. Is that correct? Does anyone see any errors in the drawing?

Is it enough to make the trusses in 45x70? The span is very short and there won't be any significant loads on the roof.
