Hello,
I am going to install a valley flashing with a recess (40mm high edges) and am wondering a bit about how to join them at the top edge. The extension breaks in the middle of the existing roof, so I need to create a valley ridge. What I've figured out so far is that I should measure both sides against the ridge line and add to make a simple bevel, which I hope will be enough. My questions are:
- Is a single bevel sufficient? It will be with roof tiles.
- When I cut and bend the seams, how do I deal with the bending in the profiling of the sheet? Should these be folded in the best way or do I cut them up? (Where the sheet is already corrugated)
Gratefully receiving any helpful suggestions and tips,
Robert
