Previously, I have removed some interior walls in the basement, and where I have filled the gaps in the floor with concrete, it became 1-3mm too high in some places. Now that we are going to lay down the platon mat and click flooring, I will probably need to sand this down to avoid having an uneven floor.
But what is the best way to sand this down? I understand it will create an incredible amount of dust, but I plan to cover and tape around the area to limit the spread of dust as much as possible. But which sander should I invest in for the quickest and smoothest solution?
The picture shows the grooves filled with light gray concrete, about 1dm wide and running across the room. The other larger light gray spots are just paint chipping, and do not need to be sanded, so the area that needs sanding is quite limited.
