Wondering if the OP has been in Corona quarantine for too long and is experiencing boredom and a lack of debate :)
Do you mean that your post is a good response to a person who is or was worried about asbestos?
Or is your response intended to be ironic towards the OP?

If we were to filter out everything that doesn't pertain to the question and the unserious other responses, we would have an interesting thread about the dangers of asbestos during demolition for those who are at a distance. Now you just see a thread with a bunch of pointless posts that don't contribute anything at all.

I also reported, of course. Strange that it was allowed to remain for so long, actually.
18 pages now, that's a lot.
No, wait a minute! It was YOU who attacked me first, calling me the following things: contemptuous teenager, wt, hopefully not a parent.

MOREOVER, you think a child protection report should be made against me. Talk about a personal attack.

I have in no way incited attacks or trolled. But I simply couldn't resist hitting back at you when you behave so badly and then leave the goal completely open for a slap shot, blame yourself. You will also get a report to the admin for personal attacks.

If we cleared away everything unnecessary after a correct answer was given, the thread would be 4 posts long. If you read the thread from the start, it's pretty obvious why the thread isn't progressing, and it's not due to Staffan or Jocke.

Exactly - close the thread! I think the essential points have come out in the thread.

Greenhouse, I'm currently renovating an older house myself and share your concern about asbestos. It's unfortunate that so many choose to diss you with sometimes extreme attacks instead of just refraining from commenting. But fortunately, you've kept a low profile...
I recommend that you read safety regulations etc. and make your own assessment. Here is an interesting fact sheet from Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, where you can read more about the risks.
http://www.amm.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Faktablad_Asbest.pdf
If I may also make my own assessment as an amateur (like everyone here), I believe, as several here have already mentioned, that the exposure levels in your case are so low that the risk of harm is entirely negligible. Even if one or two fibers might find their way. But outdoor air, especially in cities, already contains a certain amount of asbestos. See the fact sheet above.

But sigh, are you getting proxy-offended? It's an anonymous person. I haven't called anyone in the forum an "old man." Call a spade a spade. If you're 74, you're definitely an "old man." Talk about dissecting a thread to the molecular level. Read my question in its context.
For me, it's about how I enjoy coming here to read. I think your way of writing is unpleasant and makes the forum colder and less interesting to be on. Please don't tell me what I am or feel. You simply don't seem to have any manners.
Completely uninteresting if it's an anonymous person; you simply don't express yourself like that about other people. That you don't understand this is, as I wrote earlier, sad.

Ah yes!
I remember when we took down our Sidi-platt facade from the house on the island in Gbg's archipelago.
It was easy to take down the mess and place the tiles on a trailer for further transport to the island's disposal site.
Not many tiles broke, they were lightly nailed with stainless nails.
But on the way to the dump, we were stopped by the neighbors. They all wanted a bundle of tiles or two, good to have for repairing their own houses. So when we arrived at the "dump," there wasn't much eternit left.

19 pages in two days, can only happen on byggahus.se when it's about the material asbestos, which according to some is more dangerous than Botulinum toxin! :poop:

Just fine, as far as I know.
But I don't keep track of everyone, we moved from there in 1998.
