Good Oak Edge Glued Panel for shelves? Moelven's oak below all criticism.
Hi! Hardly an advanced construction project, but I have bought two glued oak boards from Moelven, purchased them at K-rauta. I previously had a good impression of Moelven and their products. Unfortunately, the boards are under all criticism. They are full of holes and uneven, knots have come loose and left holes, oak blocks haven't been evenly laid during manufacturing so the surface isn't even, there are marks on corners and edges.
This was the first shelf project, and I'm considering replacing them. But my big problem is that I'm planning to buy a bracket system for a full bookshelf and plan the shelves in oak. The shelves need to be 32cm deep, so some form of glued wood seems necessary; I can't find solid oak in those dimensions. Despite diligent searching on the internet, I can't find a retailer that feels more serious.
Does anyone have recommendations on where I can find oak about 2cm thick, 32cm wide, and lengths between 160 to 220cm?
I have found Norrgavel's shelves and consider them as a last resort, but that would hit the wallet hard. Unfortunately, gluing myself is not an option at this time.

Bauhaus has 18 mm thick oak (laminated wood), 30 or 40 cm deep and lengths up to 250 cm. I don't know how their oak board is, but we have the equivalent in birch for shelves, and there were a few ugly knot marks, etc., but it was fine to place those shelves with the damage facing down at the bottom or with the damage facing up as the top shelf. However, they are completely even.
