Hello!
I have a ceiling that has sagged, probably due to excessive snow load. The room is approximately 4.6m x 6m. (See image).
There are trusses spanning the long way, roof pitch about 7˚, snow load zone 3, felt roof.
The plan is to place IPE200 on Glulam post 90x90 on each side, standing on a sill in the wall.
Could this be reasonable? Can someone provide a definitive answer? Preferably not just a guess.
Thanks in advance
