Gluing wooden batten to tiles?

I am going to divide a room and build an interior wall. The floor is a cast slab with water-based underfloor heating and tiles on top.

I want to avoid drilling into the slab due to the water-based underfloor heating and thought I could glue a wooden stud to the tiles.
What adhesive should I use?

Glue works, but I probably would have used a sheet metal bracket instead.

Another option is double-sided tape.
