Hello.
I have quite a few glulam beams that are glued "on edge" with 25 cm pieces and finger joints, I wonder if anyone knows what such are used for and what they are called?
They are about 6 meters long with dimensions of about 60x70 and 70x70.
I suspect they were made for furniture joinery or windows and doors but don't know.

Do you not have a photo of the balkarna?

  • Stacked wooden planks showing grain detail, likely for a building project.

Don't understand what purpose they are made for?

That's how the raw material in cheap pre-painted moldings usually looks.

Okay, they might be correct, but would they suffice as dimensional lumber or something else in a construction? For a garage or a small shed? If you glue 3 pieces together under pressure?

By the way, aren't pine boards sometimes glued like that, or are they made with staves?

I believe it is a byproduct from the production of glulam beams.

Now they fit well on the forehead when it starts getting cold. It's probably like @useless said, it's from a listfabrik.
