As the subject says, I need to glue gypsum. However, I have some requirements and have been searching for answers. There are lots of threads, but none that directly answer my questions, only creating more ☺️
Preferably personal experience, as the product description on some adhesives doesn't quite match reality.
Requirements
1. Quick adhesion, meaning I can't apply pressure and there are irregularities. Must be a maximum of one minute before it can be released.
2. Not water-based, as the wallpaper underneath will come off with moisture.
3. Must adhere to both concrete, gypsum, etc.

Reviving this thread.
Did you use Casco Boardfix and how did it go if so? I'm doing the same thing and find it difficult to spread the glue properly. It got a little better with a little more water. I also don't think it covers as much as promised.
It would be fun to hear how you thought it went and if you spread the glue on the wall or on the board? I've tried both ways but don't know which I think was the least messy.

Hey!
I used this for certain boards and had the type of filler described on the package (6mm teeth?). I agree with you that it was a bit messy. I mixed smaller batches all the time since it dries very quickly. It wasn't too runny, but I still found it quite easy to spread.
I also used tubes where it was difficult with the boardfix (corners, etc.).

Also expensive...
But the result turned out well, adhered quickly and smoothly. Still holding today at least

Thanks for the reply! It's nice to hear some experiences from someone who has tried it.
Yes, I also have a trowel with 6 mm teeth. Unfortunately, it's a flimsy little plastic thing with different tooth sizes on each side. Anyway, I mixed a bit more water, and it became more manageable. However, I'm forced to put in some screws while it hardens to get the boards flush against the old gypsum. It will probably be fine once I've got everything spackled and done
