Glue on fiberboard

Hello
Is it possible to glue decorative stone made of synthetic plaster directly onto wallpaper that is glued on tretex boards?
Can the wallpaper be primed with some kind of product to avoid removing it?
Will this hold over time?

Remove the treetex, it is soft and your decor risks cracking or coming loose.
